Cylinder Theoretical Piston Force
 

The following table shows theoretical piston forces for cylinders at different pressures. Use this to work out the size of cylinder that your application requires. A cylinder's theoretical force should be 50-100% larger than the force required.

Consider increasing you pressure with a pressure intensifier to increase the force that you get from a given cylinder.
